LED light bulbs use only 2-17 watts of electricity 1/3rd-1/30th of incandescent or CFL bulbs. These light bulbs not only save electricity they remain cool to the touch and last longer than incandescent or CFL bulbs.
Common incandescent bulbs get hot and contribute to heat build up, whereas LED light bulbs prevent heat build-up and thereby help reduce A/C costs.
